'Big Paul’s is the place to be in El Nido - we didn’t know what to expect and opted for a private twin room with for £15 each Free rum and coke - for 3 hours Copious free shots - made by Paul himself Loads of other amazing backpackers from around the world Free breakfast and just everyone is so nice! 5 mins in a tricycle from El Nido town centre Bike rental yards away Can’t fault it one bit - we only wish we could have stayed longer (my liver probs couldn’t take it though)'

'We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cadlao Resort. Located a little out of El Nido town it provides an ideal place to take a few days rest during our busy travel schedule across Asia. We especially enjoyed the pool with the great view, great rooms (luckily without a TV - who needs a TV here...), great breakfast but most of all the extremely friendly and helpful staff. All the staff seems to be smiling all the time and really care about their guests having a good time. '

'Good location in the middle of the town, clean and comfortable bed, friendly staff, nice lounge area downstairs. WiFi didn’t work all the time because of the power outage, but this was an issue in the whole town. The bathroom is quite small and needs some renovation, also the hot water didn’t work during our one day stay. Air conditioning is really loud.'

'We really loved the hotel! When we booked there weren't many reviews because it's so new (only 4 months open), but it's even better than it looks in the pictures on the website. The room is really really big with an amazing bed. The beach and pool are so beautiful. You can go snorkeling (it's free and there's a lot to see) or kayaking. 'I rarel been to hotels that offer personal attention to this level. The reception on checking in is amazing, but also during our stay the team would always take great care of us. Even provided a small attention when my Girlfriend didn't feel right. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious enough. 'Very good hotel, they organize nice partys and tours and everyone is so kind and helpfull, met a lot of wonderful people here. Beautiful sunsets and lovely rooms Con: the wifi worked terrible (no wifi in the room), breakfast starts late (8 oclock) if you have an activiatie outside of the hostel you probably wont be able to have breakfast.'

'Echt een top hotel van de bovenste plank! Zeer dicht bij de airport en het stadje is gemakkelijk te bereiken. Bij aankomst een snelle check-in en direct door naar een gloednieuwe kamer! Hotel moet nog worden afgebouwd, maar wordt alleen maar mooier! Ook het naast gelegen Lio beach is erg leuk om heen te wandelen en wat te eten of te drinken!'
