'Het hotel is oudbollig en oud en stamt uit de jaren 30. Veel achterstallig onderhoud. Zelfs geen koelkast op de kamer. Ze vragen veel te veel geld voor de kamers. Wij betalen 300 voor 2 nachten. In New York en Washington betalen we per nacht niet meer dan 80 euro en dat waren top hotels! Persoonlijk vind ik dat hotels.com dit hotel moet verwijderen.'

'We didn’t see any stuff when we arrived at around 7pm as it was contactless check-in. It was clear instruction we received in advance. The room was super clean and kind of a big room. After check-out, we stopped by ice cream store and got free ice cream as hotel guests (free single scoop ice cream for hotel guest)!! Also, location is amazing. 'What a gem! You can see the care that the proprietors, Marcus & Elin put into the property. So many wonderful details, that we really appreciated. Being greeted by Stella, also made our stay quite happy. The breakfast was amazing, and every day was something different. From start to finish, everything was perfect. 'Lovely cabin! But the deck, the view, the silence… were the winners! It just needed a lake to call it Walden. The kitchen could use some renovations. And the shower needs to be fixed, but overall lovely stay. One thing to be aware of, the surrounding areas before reaching the property are very unkept and destroyed. The games provided were fun too! We recommend it!'
