Veel voorzieningen en vriendelijke mensen. Typisch Engels in de sfeer van Miss Marple en Midsomer Murders :). Bury St Edmunds op een paar km afstand viel echt tegen behalve dan de mooie Abbey ruine en tuin. De stad zelf stelt niets voor. De omgeving is niet spectaculair maar wel mooi en rustig met schitterend middeleeuwse...

'We spent a wonderful few days in this simple but pleasant converted barn. The location in the orchard of Tudor West Stow Hall was lovely especially with the fruit trees in full bloom. Communication with proprietor Eileen was very pleasant and her welcoming brownies a real treat.'

'We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. I went prepared with all the usual kitchen essentials but found that it was not needed. Dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, it was all there. It is beautifully appointed and even has a washing machine/dryer. Christina was very helpful and quick to come and help when we asked about the heating for example.
