« We spent the weekend at this cottage and were able to host a graduation celebration for approximately 25. There was good space for accommodating a BBQ. Steve was very responsive and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with needed items. Beautiful view of the lake! »

« Since we have kids in 3 states it’s challenging to get gifts home after our Christmas so about 5 years ago we decided to just pay for our family vacation and that would be everyone’s Christmas. Making memories and not having things that break or your outgrow. We had a lovely time at Lake James and hope to come back in 2 years »

« Check-in was simple (simple code for unlocking the front door). Kitchen well stocked. By far the best part of the home is the screened-in porch. We stayed out there most of the time due to the perfect weather. Just a 10-min drive to Pokagon State Park as well. »

« We had a great time staying in Emily’s lake house. Pictures portray it accurately. Inside of home has been completely renovated and is very clean, comfortable and cozy. Can’t beat the location right on the water. Short drive to Walmart, Meijer, Kohls among others. Nice choice of restaurants nearby. Snow lake connects to Lake James, and a few other Lakes. We spent time at the sandbar and went tubing. Would definitely stay here again! Kids kept asking if we could stay here again next year! »

« Here for the week with children and grandchildren. The house is beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The best part was the "bunk room" for the grandchildren. [all eight of them] They could all stay in one room and had such a great time hanging out together. Communication with Kim was incredible! Had one very small issue with the stove and it was resolved immediately. Would highly recommend this house for large families. Thank you Kim!!! »

« The cottage provided us everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out and the owner was very responsive to requests. I have not had a gas stove since I was a kid living at home and I found that cooking on it was like riding a bike. It gave me a bit of nostalgia as well.The location was great for us. Close to town, and to our own cottage that is currently gutted. Also easy drive into the Lake James/Jimmerson area - which of course you need to arrive to Tom's Donuts early if you don't...

« Our family enjoyed this house for the second time. Great view of third basin looking out from large deck. Master bedroom with large closet and bathroom was great, also 4 other bedrooms. The kitchen and dining area was very nice and equipped good. Games, ping pong and large tv was enjoyed by all. »
