« We enjoyed our stay, property was just what we needed...a place to sleep, shower and minimal cooking for a few days. Bed is against the wall on one side and squeaked when you rolled over, but that was the only downside to our stay. Overall we would give it an excellent rating. »

« The Golden Alaska Lodge was such a treat. We loved staying away from town, the views of Silver Bay are amazing. It is such a peaceful home. The house is very clean, very well equipped for anything you may need. It was very comfortable. We enjoyed the spa and sauna after long days of fishing. Brian and Christine were great to work with. I definitely recommend booking this house if you are visiting Sitka! »

« Absolutely adorable stay here in Sitka. The space is quite big for a two bedroom. The only issue was a new building is going up right next to it and does block some of the views from inside. If you’re here tho, you’ll get all the beautiful views exploring anyways »

« Convenient downtown location, perfect for the traveler who doesn't want to rent a car. I rented a car for the first day of my week long trip to shop for groceries and orient myself to the island. The rest of the trip, we either walked or utilized free public transportation. The management team responded immediately to my calls. There are stairs leading to the units that may be arduous for some folks, but not us. I will definitely book again. »

Very comfortable, safe, friendly place and town. Laundry worked well. Food: Beak for dinner twice, Highliner for coffee, bagels, breakfast sandwiches 4 times, Wildflower Bakery. Highly recommend! Katy and Jack have a great VRBO-stay there if you are in Sitka! »
