'Don’t be fooled by the classification “Suite”. They’re just standard hotel rooms. So no separate bedroom. Staff varies dramatically from friendly, via uninterested to just rude (especially in body language). Items missing or exchanged without notification from ordered food. And several items on the menu are not available. '

'We booked the beach front bungalow. It was clean and cozy. King size bed. Nice bathroom and shower. A nice patio with chairs and loungers, all right at the waters edge. The people of Hawksbill resort are friendly and the service was good. Food was good, not a huge section to choose from if I were to compare it to other all inclusive resorts I've been too. But there was plenty to choose and it was all good. Took the Hobie for a spin, did some kayaking, snorkeling, this was the best most laid back...

'The room was very clean. If you wanted you could have service done everyday. We opted out of that but they still provided us everything we needed; towels, more toilet paper, etc. Any staff member we met was nothing but kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They were excellent. The resort was beautiful and sat on a breathtaking beach with the mountains right beside it. Our view couldn’t have been any better. '

'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'
