'Couldn’t be closer to the beach. Massive porch and surprisingly spacious cottages with notably high ceilings. Separated a good distance from the main road with a feel that is entirely secluded, save for a wave to the neighbors. Quiet and peaceful as one can imagine, the only sounds are the ones you want on a tropical island - waves, birds, and the nightly chorus. The AC is more than one could ask for, very comfortable climate control. All of the appliances worked perfectly - my one and only...

'Het hotel was prima. De kamers ruim en het bed prima. Je kon diner en ontbijt bestellen, maar het ligt echt afgelegen. Als je geen auto hebt, kun je zeker ‘s avonds weinig kanten op. '

'Good and pleasant small hotel. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, nice swimming pool, reasonably good restaurant, great sunset view from the little terrace in front of my room. My WiFi worked perfectly, as did the AC and fridge. Did not try the tv. Shower and towels may need an upgrade in some years. '

'Great place to stay in Portsmouth! Close to the beach and food. 10ish min drive to cabrits. ~30ish min to batibou beach & red rocks. Clean room and someone came to clean everyday. Typical dishes in the kitchen but could have more (scissors), super convenient tho! A restaurant owned by hotel right at the entrance & convenient. We did not try their breakfast though. Some noise from animals can be heard in the morning. We went during their renovations starting ~9ish am but wasn’t an issue for us...

'Absolute stunning view and friendly staff. Rooms and property were clean and adequate - bonus having a fridge and water kettle in the room. So nice having the restaurant on site. Building certainly not high end and is old in need up updates - but it is clean and functional (as is the state of most properly on the island). Would go again :)'

'We had a wonderful stay. The host was very kind and welcoming, and the place was comfortable and relaxing. The scenery is absolutely stunning — mountains and ocean views all in one. At night, we went up to the viewing platform and saw a sky full of stars. It was truly beautiful. Highly recommend!'

'Great (and brand new) location, comfy room, great sea views, really nice food and an amazing host who knows a lot about the island. A 4wd is recommended to drive up the short but steep driveway. When ever we come back to Dominica, we will definately come back here.'

'STUNNING. Incredible location in terms of walking access to many beaches, and other highlights like Point Baptiste Estate Chocolate factory. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the Distillery is full of treats to enjoy and bring home for gifts. The grocery store down the street has amazing fresh juice and we enjoyed dinner at Nets of Reef multiple evenings.'

'Wonderful apartment only 5 minutes drive from the airport. Perfect to start your holiday in Dominica. Check in was nice and easy and the host even collected some provisions for us beforehand. '
