'La maison de Velda est spacieuse, très bien équipée et très propre. La vue d'une des chambres et de la terrasse est magnifique. Quel plaisir de prendre le petit déjeuner face à la mer et que dire du coucher de soleil!Les habitants du village sont très sympathiques. Il y a de petits magasins qui peuvent rendre service.Velda et son mari sont très gentils, leur accueil a été cordial et leur suggestion de restaurant était judicieuse. 'Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and...

'Clean cute cottage with beautuful landscaping. Your restaurant was advertised as open for dinner. We learned it was only open 7 am until 3. The staff, especially Ron, were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a very pleasant stay, thank you!'

'Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...

'Accomodation is located in the green Roseau valley, 5 car minutes from town. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from ownwers and staff. Cottage was aged and smaller than we expected. Tiny wardrobe, inconveniently located in the bathroom! Bedroom small, too. On the positive side, all equipment is in working order.
