'We had a very good stay at GHL Hotel. The property is located outside of Puno, so it’s quite remote with no nearby restaurants or stores. The hotel’s restaurant offers a very nice dinner, which made up for the isolated location. One of the highlights was the beautiful lakeside setting, with a lovely walking path along the water. 'We had to beg to have the room cleaned daily and to have towels and toilet paper. They looked offended we asked. They came once to clean the room and we were taking a late afternoon nap. The came in without knocking at the door… Don’t take a bath the water smells like sulfur or rotten eggs. If you take shower, be aware your TP is going to be soaking wet and that the whole floor is going to be wet also. The soap / shampoo distributors are not in the shower, but 5 ft away! We were sold a room...

'The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. We needed our converter to work and the maintenance person came right up to insert a connector so that it worked. Breakfast was good with variety of choices. Location good for walking to restaurants and markets to buy fresh fruit and water.'

'I stages 3 nights. At the first night I had to take a shower in médium-low temperature. I said it at the woman at the main office. Day 2 they changed my room for another which the hit water was ok… she never mentionnes that I Will have to pay the extras. At the Check-out , surprise I had to pay 300 soles to cover it. I asked the women Why and they couldnt answer me. So I paid it and i’m still looking for a refund of theses abusives fées. '
