« Matera was our first stop on our Italy Trip. This property is spacious, well located in the center with spectacular views across the old town. Parking is near by, we paid 25 euros for each 24 hours, so 50 euros total, which was easy walk with case and no steps, which was ideal for us. « We absolutely loved our stay in the La Cava nel Barisano Suite. Rosalba and Gianfranco were wonderful and generous hosts providing us with breakfast supplies and beautiful cakes. They recommended where to park and guided us into the Sassi in the dark. Their communication during our stay was great. « The condo is a short walk from the centre. No elevator makes for getting luggage to the condo a work out. However when you open the door it is worth the effort. Pictures are very accurate, it is a large condo. Our host left a very nice surprise of breakfast items. The bedrooms are large and lots of storage. The host was easy to communicate with and quick response. Prrhaps one day we will return to this amazi g cindo in a beautiful city. »
