« It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. This is a get away spot, I recommend, part of which what is not there makes it special. Waldon Pond in a field! I could easly spend a week there doing my writing & a artistic...

« We had a wonderful quick stay while attending a concert at the Maine Savings Amphitheatre. Everything was wonderful. We traveled with a small dog and it was great to have such a nice place to stay. It felt like a home and a welcoming space. There were a lot of amenities and very thoughtful things left for guests. Thank you for a great visit and home away from home. »

« Gwen and Andrew’s cabin was a perfect place to unwind and watch the beauty of the lake by morning, noon and night. It was very tidy, clean and very well thought out for the cozy space inside, with plenty of seating areas outside to move yourself with the sun throughout the day. They kindly offered use of their canoe to explore the peacefully quiet lake and fishing in the coves. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again to rejuvenate in this peaceful place! »

« This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again. »

« We had a wonderful time staying at your lake house with a family of 2 adults and two 12 year old boys. We had plenty of swimming, fishing, and kayaking in the beautiful clean lake. Having firewood available made for a relaxing and easy evening for making fire and eating s'mores. We all really enjoyed A1 relics antique shop for one of our rainy day. we just love the sound of the loons and the sensational sky view. The host, Josh, was available and responsive to any questions I had during my trip....

« We had such a wonderful week at the cottage! It was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Having Branch Lake a few steps from the house was amazing. We swam and canoed several days and explored Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Of course, we couldn’t miss the popovers at the Jordan Pond House. We loved the cottage (as well as Maggie from next door) and hope to return. »
