'We found the location to be on the right side of isolated. We quickly fell in love with the Taff Bargoed Valley and its surrounds. Each day tempted us to take a new lane up into the moors and explore the places we were driving through to get to our chosen destination for that day.The dog walking area is close and a joy to walk to and through. The local shop is no distance and supplied enough for for our needs. The beds and pillows are comfy as is the sofa.Having a dishwasher was a bonus,...

We hadden eend. Bediening zeer slecht.'

'Way overpriced for what you get. Old reputation may be good but that must be years ago. Noisy room. No cleaning of rooms when you stay longer than 1 night. Old building. The staff tried to do their best but can not help the problems this hotel has.'

'Rooms are good. Suites much better with extra space and nice view. '

'Everything was perfect to what we wanted'

'Nice building, character. We had a huge room in the eves, great. However, there is a need for some maintenance, stair carpet a big hole, some woodwork could do with a lick of paint, silicone refreshing. The spa, mmmm, clean those shower walls and repair some taps and such. It really needs to be uplofted in places.'

'Great value and comfortable 2 night stay. Fab shower, blackout blind & curtains, friendly & helpful staff. Will definitely stay again when in the area'

'Staff were really friendly on arrival, had already filled up and heated the hot tub. Room was clean and was lovely to stay in, couldn’t ask for more. Will defiantly use again'

'A very pleasant stay Room was lovely'

'Room was cleanish, toilet seat broken. Shaver light in bathroom not operating and charger point in room not operating. One bed squeaked loudly every time you moved. Staff helpful and evening meals were good. The hotel met our needs but 3 stars at the most.'

'Don't used these people it's a scam isn't even a hotel.'

Twee-persoons matras is hard. Eén-persoons bed is ok. Dunne kussens. Full English breakfast is ok.
