'Gelukkig maar één nacht verbleven in dit hotel. Niet gezellig, badkamer ruikt niet fris, oud decor, oud en beschadigd meubilair, flink gat in badkamer deur. Het ziet er niet echt schoon uit. 'Nette kamer , wel zachte bedden . Ontbijt stelt niet heel veel voor . Dineren kan niet in de buurt helaas , daar moet je wel een stuk voor rijden . '

'The room smells clean as you come in, always a great start. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are ensuite with a little kitchen area, all decorated differently. We had a little table to eat at as well. Chocolates and home made Welsh cakes with milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Self check in with a pin code key box. Building felt secure. Great views of the hills from the top room. Street parking available just outside the front door. A couple of convenience stores very close. Great location for visiting...

'Amazing host very helpful , showed us how to put the cover over the hot tub which was helpful as I thought it did not have a cover over when raining . Very clean and lots of extras like tea , coffee , sugar and milk. Look forward to staying here again x'

'I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). '

'My family and I enjoyed the stay at this property. Beds were comfortable, hot showers and plenty of bath water for a long soak after walking up Pen Y Fan which is just down the road. Kitchen well equipped, lots of space at the dining table. Stairs to the bedroom are steep which is normal for this type of cottage. There is a lovely outdoor space at the back. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. '

'Our recent birthday holiday stay had its positives, but unfortunately, it didn't fully meet our expectations. The communication with the hosts was excellent—they were welcoming and even greeted us with Welsh cakes and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my birthday, which was a lovely touch.
