We stayed at the first (top) floor with a view of the lake and standing on the balcony, which was spacious, we could see the sea and beach between the other buildings. 'Wij waren zeer tevreden over aloft hotel. Het lijkt meer een 5 sterren hotel dan een 4 sterrenhotel. De familiekamer was ruim, schoon en had een geweldig kingsize bed. Ook de badkamer is enorm. Het personeel is vriendelijk, er zijn veel activiteiten (ook voor oudere kinderen) en alle Extra’s zoals de sportschool, kidsclub etc. Maakte er een uitstekend verblijf van. 'The resort is nestled in the rain forrest. Monkeys and butterflies everywhere. The beach is magnificent and calm (no music, no motorized water sports, thankfully!). Staff were very friendly and forthcoming. The place is clean. There are three restaurants. Due to our family's preferences we chose to eat the most at the grill - with Western food. The cooks aren't too schooled in this, so don't expect the highest quality. The Asian restaurant was far better but a bit too spicy for our untrained tastebuds. The pools are very nice and fun for kids. The private beach is beautiful. We absolutely loved staying here. "
