'Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay here in Langkawi. 'Great villa in a remote location. We had the place to ourselves and the villa manager Raid was very attentive, had lots of information for us and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend hiring a car due to location. Breakfast included and there’s an all day menu. We ate at the neighbouring The Datai hotel which Raid arranged for us and he also took us there and collected us. '

'If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. Complimentary pickup/dropoff service...

'The Limasan Villa property is in the middle of rural place surrounded by native houses and is very near the airport. aircraft noisy is terrible. The property is far from the beach and the main street. And rural road is narrow and uneven, also smells bad. The house is very dark, gloomy , unclean floor and whole place smells The manager behavior was very cruel. when we tried to solve a problem， the managerwouldn't cooperat and force us move out our luggage outside the main gate and expel us...

"Pelangi Resort consists of a beautiful main building and several buildings with one or more hotel rooms in them. Ours had 8. We stayed at the first (top) floor with a view of the lake and standing on the balcony, which was spacious, we could see the sea and beach between the other buildings. Staff were very friendly and forthcoming. The place is clean. There are three restaurants. Due to our family's preferences we chose to eat the most at the grill - with Western food. The cooks aren't too schooled in this, so don't expect the highest quality. The Asian restaurant was far better but a bit too spicy for our untrained tastebuds. The pools are very nice and fun for kids. The private beach is beautiful. We absolutely loved staying here. "
