'We stayed two nights for the 2025 Clacton airshow. The hotel has good (free for guests) parking and is about a 30 minute walk to Clacton pier. Alternatively buses run along the front. We stayed in room 20 which had a Sea view on the second floor (note there are no lifts). The room was clean and tidy with cofee and tea making facilities and a TV (no fridge), also free (good) WI-FI. 'We booked this for its proximity to family after flying in from Australia and I didn’t expect much. While not a fancy hotel, we had a lovely stay with our young family. We arrived late and check in was made very very easy. Our room was huge, very clean and very comfortable. Staff the next morning were very accomodating and we enjoyed breakfast. Thanks for taking care of us!'

'Easy WiFi connection, bed was clean and comfy, room very clean spacious, easy parking, the staff offered me use of the lift as I use a walker which was a huge help, met two staff members and both were lovely friendly gentleman 😊'

'Nice hotel and very friendly people/owners. We came very late from the boat in Harwich. It was very easy to find the hotel. The owners help is to find a good restaurant. The breakfast was very good and made with passion. '

'Hoteliers had provided lots of extra touches. The cleaning was impeccable. The room was well, decorated she had good quality cushions and curtains made to match the paper on the feature wall, nice quality biscuits and tea, sew kit and cottonpads. Wonderful comfy bed and clean shower room. Great selection at breakfast, fresh fruit, raspberry, blueberry, cereals then full English and about 8 various mini jam pots including salted caramel, I had to resist taking them home 1st time I've been to...

'We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round .'

'De locatie is erg praktisch voor ons doel, op tijd bij de ferry. Tevens is dat een reden dat de omgeving minder aantrekkelijk is. Maar slechte punten heb ik niet te melden, het hotel voorziet in een behoefte.'

'Disappointed with the service, my holiday home was cancelled as the host doubled booked and couldn’t get us another place to stay and was travelling with my 10 year old disabled child. The host was very unprofessional and rude.'
