'Chakra cottage had aesthetic interiors and very spacious even for a couple with small kids. Seeing sunrise in the lake from the portico was wonderful. Staff were really courteous and friendly. Spa was great too. Overall it was a lovely peaceful experience just an hour drive from Thiruvananthapuram. '

'Restaurant excellent for evening meal. Check-in experience good. Noise from alarms and building works annoying. View from room directly into incomplete rooms or another constitution site. Room small compared to other Indian 4* hotels, although much cheaper too. Location slightly out of town, close to sunset point.'

'This is a no frills hotel - good for a quick overnight stay. On a busy street and no ocean view. But it worked for us because we walked early morning for the sunrise views - it's another story that there was no sunrise view because of cloud conditions. '

'Room:no 314: 2 lights out of 4, not working ,room seemed dark. Bathroom: seemed dark with 1 light. Sink was leaking. Lot of mosquitoes in the room. Tiny roach. When we checked in the doorman did not offer to carry our bags inside even for senior citizens. For foreign tourists may not feel satisfaction at this place.'
