« This place is stuck in the past and not in a charming way. The carpet is stained, the bathroom looks like it was patched together with the cheapest possible materials, and the furniture and curtains have clearly seen better decades. « Had a room in the loft, it was very warm but thankfully there was a fan. The shower ran a trickle of water, so wasn't enjoyable. Bar was open late which was good as we could have a last drink before going to bed. Breakfast was good and staff were nice. »

« Internet was good and staff very pleasant. They made me porridge & asked how I'd like it made & gave me gluten free bread toasted as requested. I was in a room directly over the bar area so was a bit noisy but was all quiet by 11pm so was able to get a good sleep. Lovely room! »
