'It was wonderful. It was a late night arrival after a stormy drive and such a pleasant welcoming. Too cold to try the pool. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival and also saw them when leaving who were very pleasant to chat with, as was the dog that carried a rubber boot around. Everything was modern and easy to use. Of the highlights were the home made bread along with jam and fresh farm eggs left for us, and awaking to see lambs just outside the windows with cattle not far in the pasture....

'The kitchen was perfectly and thoughtfully equipped, including those little things you take for granted having in your kitchen like oil and vinegar etc, that you don’t realise you need when packing! (I didn’t use them, but did really appreciate that they were there).The roses around the property are beautiful, and I made sure to stop and smell the roses at every opportunity. '

'Ruime kamer, alles was prima in orde. Het was een goed verblijf op onze doorreis naar het Noorden. We hebben gegeten in het restaurant op het terrein zelf, helaas was er geen buitenverlichting toen we weer naar onze kamer liepen, was wel erg donker. '
