'Enjoyed the stay. First impression bit weird, have to sign a document spelling out the damage you have to pay for damaged property (logic you have to, but never needed to sign for it) and room without window. But bed and shower excellent and the view from the terrace is amazing, in the morning accompanied by great variety of birds. Price is very reasonable. '

'This hotel was very beautiful, a Salvadoran gem! A beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant! We also loved the appetizer we ordered: fried yucca with cheese inside. The restaurant staff was very nice and helpful, the receptionist for the hotel seemed kind of annoyed we were there but it didn’t take away from our stay. I would recommend this lovely place for sure!'

'Loved this house, very close to everything in Central Suchitoto, amazing view of the lake, very tastefully furnished. The pool and garden is beautiful and very private with an amazing variety of birds landing in the garden, from hummingbirds to toucans. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. Excellent communication from the host; there was an initial mixup with our dates and everything was settled quickly and efficiently. All-in-all, this house is a gem and we would definitely book it...

'El Cardedeu es un hotel en el centro histórico con una ubicación perfecta, cuenta con dos restaurantes que no son del hotel propiamente, porque no se puede cargar a la habitación, pero están adentro de el, y los dos son excelentes restaurantes, el rooftop altamente recomendado y los desayunos en Silvestre, su otro restaurante. En el baño deberían de tener más ganchos para guindar o poner cosas, pero en general la habitación bastante amplia, bonita y cómoda. Muy recomendado el hotel '

'A rustic country like feel'

'I loved the ambiance and the atmosphere. So relaxing. Try the alcohol mixed drinks. The fried fish wasn’t fresh. A bit dry and the pool could have been cleaned more, other than that. I loved everything. I would also suggest going on the canoe ride. '

'Staff was great/ helpful and quick. The hotel itself was very nice and the view was amazing. I will definitely be going back and will try the crystal room next time. My room had a great view. Super clean and easy to get too. I had hot water, WiFi, jacuzzi and ac. I will be back '

'Beautiful property and exceptionally friendly staff. Loved the bar and pool table. Really loved the gym ! Great cafe and ice cream shop. Close to airport. Rental car agencies on site. '

'There is a tree in the middle of the front parking , which is at a very inconvenient place , we accidentally hit the tree and damage our car . Other than that the experience was pleasant '
