« We absolutely loved our stay over the Easter long weekend. Communication between the owners was amazing. When we needed anything or had any questions we got prompt response each time. The location of the houseboat is stunning. Such a beautiful spot. So much bird life around and stunning sunsets to watch. The houseboat itself is lovely. « Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult. »

« I can only say that our eight night stay was wonderful. The apartment Sunset was beautifully appointed and had everything that we needed. We were welcomed with fresh eggs and some chocolates. We were in easy driving distance of some lovely towns and even made it to the Morphettville races. Our last day was simply spent in the apartment and the backyard. Beautiful and relaxing. Altogether a gem! »

« Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway. »

« Incredibly relaxing stay! Bed was very comfortable (great for my bad back) fireplace in the Lounge Room with lovely outdoor bath was fantastic. I simply loved having a sauna inside the bathroom. When we arrived, we saw our little welcome pack with breakfast provisions for the first day and feed so we could feed the cows, goats and alpacas on the property. »
