« It was clean and handy to the bowling club dining facilities. A downside was that The lighting was stark and not relaxing. »

« Great location ideal for couples or small families.. beds could need with an update especially in the main room wheels on a timber floor are not ideal, also was abit musty and cobwebs where evident blinds where also damaged and needed a clean.. »

« Was a nice little space to have a few people stay, everything looks newly renovated making it nice and fresh. Towels were provided which wasn’t mentioned but great! Great location and easy to walk to the Sandpit for coffee and the beach!! »

« The whole holiday was a wonderful experience. I wish it could have been longer, but we are already planning to return. The house was an ideal holiday home for us both and our pet dog who enjoyed the yard and the dog beach not far away. Evans Head itself is a very relaxing destination, with the beach, the bowlo, and areas nearby that we explored. The whole process of check-in/check out were simple and uncomplicated. « Overall the property was agreeable and we enjoyed our stay. The downsides were: limited toilet paper (perhaps a small issue but 3 rolls for a week is stingy - are we expected to provide our own?), there were no replacement rubbish bags for the rubbish and compost receptacles (again are we expected to provide our own?), the A/C is only in the main lounge/dining/kitchen room so the bedrooms with the queen beds were hot. The tower fan provided was completely inadequate it would struggle to blow out...

« My family of 4 stayed for the weekend in Blue Haven. Tatum was friendly, helpful and responsive. The cottage is centrally located in Iluka, with walking paths at the front of the property. Kids were happy playing in the tidy, fenced backyard or watching a complimentary DVD. 1min walk to The Freshwater cafe on Saturday and Sunday for breakfast or coffee. The home was appealing, warm and had conveniences such as air-conditioning and a washing machine/dryer. We had a lovely time and would happily...

« This unit, attached to the owners' home, is one of the nicest places we've stayed at in our travels throughout Australia. It overlooks a river and is set in beautiful, tranquil surroundings. The unit itself is compact, very well equipped and spotlessly clean, with unexpected treats provided. We had car battery problems and Peter couldn't have been more helpful. This is a top holiday unit and we can't wait to return. »
