'The cabin had lots of amenities and was very convenient to the sights at Hocking Hills State Park. However, the cedar smell was extremely strong. I initially thought I might have to sleep in my car, but after leaving the windows open all afternoon, I was able to sleep with them open. The owner did not seem very understanding of my concern and said the photos showed a wooden interior, although I have stayed in many wooden cabins without such an overwhelming smell. I also accidentally locked...

'Everything was great. Cabin clean a super cute! It did have a pretty musty smell at first but with the fireplace and cracking some windows it aired out. Fishing pond is awesome! I caught the biggest bass in my life!!'

'We were disappointed in the hot tub and did not use it. The water was cloudy. I didn't bother contacting the host about it because we wouldn't have felt comfortable using it after that. The water inside the cabin smelled, I do realize it was well water. The access to the goats was not good, there was what we thought was another rental behind us and we didn't want to disturb them. Sweet cat and kitten came to visit. The cottage was cute but needed some maintenance.'

'The house was clean, cozy, and everything worked great, including the hot tub. It is closer to neighboring rentals than expected, but I honestly liked that. The balcony is very high and accessed by a steep ladder, so definitely keep that in mind when booking, especially for taller or bigger husbands, he was not a fan that high up. Biggest win for me: not a bug or spiderweb anywhere around the house! Overall, we had a great stay and thought it was a cute, relaxing place to visit. would book again'

'Property was as described, clear directions for use of hot tub and TV/Wifi. Great location for ease of access to hiking trails. The house could use a deeper clean, a few extra bath towels, and water heater for showers was vey small. Two thumbs up overall and would stay at this location again for sure.'

'I surprised my fiancé for his 50th birthday with this weekend getaway. This cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean, the bed was comfy and the quiet seclusion of the property was exactly what we were looking for! Plus, it was so close to the Hocking Hills Park! The host was gracious and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again. The only suggestion I would make is that the water softener needs to be balanced.'

'When we first viewed the container cabin from the street, my husband went, "Are you kidding me? This is where you booked us to spend four days?" Then we went down to the cabin...within five minutes his assessment totally changed. He was fascinated by the layout of the place. Everything was clean and basically looked new. Everything we needed was supplied, all the little thoughtful things were there. Salt and pepper, sugar and sweetner, coffee, tea cocoa, linens. So many times you have to supply...

'The cabin was isolated from the other cabins which was very nice. Very comfortable and was well equipped. We both enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor seating. Owners were very nice and let us know we could check in early. Overall we had a great stay. Very clean cabin!'
