'This is an older motel, so don't expect a 4-star hotel. I've stayed there twice on the last two years, and both times I have had excellent experiences. The building is probably from the 1950-1960 era, and it does show. However, the rooms themselves have everything you would need. Everything is very clean. There are no odd smells, the rooms smell fresh. Everything was very hygienic and there were no signs of any problems. There has never been any problems with noise at night, any more than you...

The living room was comfortable, and we spent our evenings relaxing in front of the gas fireplace. The host was pleasant and quick to respond to questions. 'The Lodge at Sunapee Stays was a great place to stay at, comfortable bed, heat pump works great for heating room. The bidet toilet was a first for me, and actually was nice to use. The activity room is also very nice and clean with a lot of options.'
