'My husband and I wanted a cozy little get away for our anniversary & the lil school house was so perfect!!! It’s a nice rural setting and very well taken care of and remodeled so cute!!! I am so happy they had ceiling fans- that is one of my must haves anywhere we stay!!! We had everything we needed and excellent communication with our hosts!! It’s about 20 minutes into Manhattan and Tuttle Creek which was great since we brought our kayak!! It was the perfect stay!! '

'We loved the house and the location. The house was very well maintained, clean and inviting. We loved sitting outside by the firepit. We all agreed that a lot of thought went in to the remodel of this house. The interior struck the right chord of maintaining the charming aspects of an older house while encorporating modern amenities.'

'The stay was great! The Konza Prairie Hike was beautiful! Love Mankato! Plenty of good restaurants close by. The home was nice, just as advertised. I would say that the only negative was that I wrote a nice “Thank You” note for the owners, which never garnered even the slightest acknowledgment. We listed a couple of small items that needed repair (certainly did not detract from the stay) - no reply. Other than that, a terrific stay! I’d rate the overall experience 4/5.'
