« We wished we could take the swings on the porch home with us. My sister and I were here for a week, and it was super comfortable. We play a lot of board games, for which the turret was perfect. Also, the natural light is great. A box fan helps with air circulation in the closet bedroom. As others have noted, beds are firm and could use some padding for those of us who are older. « Room was clean. Cabin was clean. It is rustic, but nice. The kids and grands met us there, which is a little distance, but we really enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate Grandpa’s 80th birthday, with burgers, hotdogs, s’more and cake! It was wonderful. Thank you for all your help! »

« We are repeat guest. As always property was well stocked and very clean. Diane is a great host and always available if needed. Caught a couple nice Blue Catfish, 8-10lb. Kicked back outside by the fireplace and relaxed. We unplug when we are there. No news, no phones, no stress. Not too many full-time neighbors. (very quiet). Those that live there are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay for those looking to return to a simpler time, even just for a few days. »
