'Stayed July 3–5, 2025 with my wife via VRBOWe had a fantastic stay at Bolstad West for the holiday weekend. The location truly can’t be beat—steps from the beach, right by the boardwalk, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. Fireworks on the beach were next-level, and it was amazing to watch the chaos and color unfold right outside the property.The unit itself was clean, quiet, and tastefully furnished, with a cozy vibe that made it feel like home....

'We’ve now stayed at this property twice and will continue for our annual Doggy Vacation (we bring our pup here every year…she LOVES the beach!). It’s clean, the perfect size and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. We love that it’s outside the main town; just a short, beautiful walk through the dunes and you’re at the beach…where most often, you have it to yourselves. No crowds, peaceful and wonderful!'

'From the beginning, communication was excellent. Finding where our unit was straight forward with the map they provided. The unit were very clean and well set up. There are some cooking essentials provided in the kitchen and enough plates and glasses for up to 6. 'Very nice cottage just a couple blocks from the waterfront. Very well equipped apartment, comfortable bed and tastefully furnished. It was perfect for one night and we even prepared some food in the kitchen. Note the bed is in a loft with among the steepest staircases I have seen in an apartment. Stairtread height 10-11 inches. Not for folks with stability challenges or bad knees. Wasn’t an issue for us but to be aware. '

'The condo is on the first level that has two other rentals above it. Which makes for very loud floors/ceilings! Upon arrival, I noticed quickly the floors and corners of the floors were still pretty dirty, and the cleaning wasn’t the greatest job of them…. 'So close to town and the variety of food places great. Kids loved Finland, bumper cars and golf. Plenty of ice cream places. Neighborhood quiet and the beds comfortable. Could sit on the deck and enjoy the wildlife around us.'

'We loved the home and it had everything our large family needed. The bedrooms were perfect and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have 4 full bathrooms as well. The home was situated perfectly from the beach and to have the ADA walkway right out the door was perfect for strollers and the wagons to make it 3/4 of the way to where we camped out during the day.'

"Dit is een perfecte lokatie om een of meer paar dagen van het strand te genieten. Je loopt er zo heen. Goede restaurants ook erg dichtbij. Wij hadden kamer met balkon aan de zijkant. Ook dan goed zicht op de zee. Dan het hotel zelf. Ruime kamer met schuifpui naar balkon. Geen airco maar wel plafondventilator. Prima bed. Gewoon helemaal prima. Er is een binnen zwembad. Tenslotte is er goed personeel. Tammy heeft ons fantastisch geholpen nadat we wat in een restaurant haalden laten liggen. Geweldig!"

"This motel is exactly what you see, very basic, but good. Upon entering, the light scent of chlorine reassures you that everything is clean and well-maintained. It’s centrally located, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I can imagine that in the summer months, being so close to the beach, this would be a great base for an amazing vacation."
