'We always enjoy the Chatahqua Resort. It's proximity makes it please for what we do when we come over. Staff is always helpful, and roo.s are clean.'

'Room was clean, staff helped when needed. The tub does not drain that good when you shower but is expected when it's a beach hotel. Coffee could be better the coffee maker and packs are not great. Overall it's good.'

'We stayed for three nights and will probably stay here again. We really liked that the room was very clean, the staff were especially helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, and beyond the property's control was the loudness of the barking and howling dogs. They didn't after the "curfew", but it was grating. The mattress and pillows were clean, but lumpy. Everything else was great!!'

'We stayed at the Mermaid’s Reef, which was charming! My partner and I love the water and I love mermaids, so it spoke to us. The amenities were great and the beach was basically in our backyard, which was awesome. It was pet friendly and they even provided a dog package, which was thoughtful . It’s family friendly , so it would be a good spot to take your little ones. I would definitely recommend Breakwater Resort and would go back myself.'

'It's excellent resort with outdoor pool and hot tub in the patio. The rooms are actually condos with full scale kitchen with equipment and all stuff, required for the cooking. Gas fireplace, bedrooms and bathrooms. Access to the beach for the people and cars; nice trails. Lighthouses and other landmarks just 15-20 minutes driving. The best for retreat with family.'
