One of our favorite features was the loft, which offered a peaceful view of the river and made for a great reading or beverage spot throughout the day.The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything we needed to prepare full meals, from cookware to utensils and a few common pantry basics. It made cooking easy and enjoyable, especially with the outdoor setup....

« The photos? Sure, they look decent — but they’re taken at just the right angles and just the right lighting to hide the reality. The place is dated, dark, and dingy. What you see online is NOT what you get in person. Upon arrival, we were never sent check-in instructions. We had to call and wait on hold for 20 minutes just to figure out how to get in — standing in the heat with our bags like lost tourists. Inside? A sauna. No air conditioning, no fans, no airflow whatsoever. It was like trying...

« We had a wonderful three-night stay at this cozy cabin in Hillman. It was the perfect distance from the Cities—close enough for an easy drive, but far enough to feel like a true getaway. The cabin was well-appointed with everything we needed. We spent our time relaxing, grilling, and even caught a couple of fish right off the dock. One evening by the fire was a highlight.We also ventured into Brainerd one afternoon for a delicious lunch at Chick N Rice (highly recommend!) and had a great time...
