'For the price we paid, this hotel was great overall. The hotel is currently under renovation, so there were construction materials and work debris in parts of the floor/hallway. The room itself was decent and pretty typical for a 2-star hotel, but there was a noticeable smell of mildew or fresh paint that hadn’t fully dried yet. 'This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty...
