'I was at a music festival and it was hot. Looked up motel in the area. Everything in town full. 9 miles away I found this little place. Reviews were not great but I was done camping. Arrived to a newly outside painted, signed in, went to the room and it was newly painted, new flooring, new fixtures in bathroom and furniture. Air conditioner new and was great relief. Manager went out of his way to ask if everything was ok every time I returned. Review trolls be damned..get a life. '

'House is secluded, and very well maintained. Large enough to stretch your legs and close enough to town for a easy visit. My brother lives in town but has a small house so this was a great place to have a family get together. Will 100% stay again.'

'We enjoyed our stay at the Albaugh family guest house. The views were amazing. There is a great view of Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen. We enjoyed watching the cows move around in the pasture. A convenient location. We would stay again'

In addition, the size of this vacation rental was more than enough for us. In fact, we have family living in Alturas and visit them from Denver at least twice a year!
