'The Izaak Walton is just an amazing hotel and a great place to stay you get a very warm welcoming from the front desk staff and all the other hotel staff members too, they all make you feel at home too, the rooms are excellent very clean and spacious great WiFi service too, and the beds are so comfortable. 'Trip was great, so was the stay. What could have been better is ensuring rooms the construction is fenced off and not appearing at the rooms, and clearing off rubbish at the pathway on your way to the rooms ie where the rump is, on the left was full of broken items, bags of charcoal, old beer bottles, etc. Not a good sight for a customer yet its along the way to the rooms'

'I primarily chose the hotel for its location near the Grace Bible Church where I was participating in a conference. The grounds and room were clean and well-maintained. Good 24-hour security. There are steps as the property is on a hill. Not many guests, but breakfast was always on time and I could go to the dining room as needed. Convenient, clean and secure.'

'I like the fact that it's close to the river which had a spectacular sight. What I did not like is the fact that Expedia did not pay for my booking despite getting the payment from me. Very bad manners from an organisation. I would not recommend anyone to book for their stay via Expedia .com.'

'Es ist ein unglaublicher Ort der Ruhe. Das Personal ist äußerst Zuvorkommend und abens wird ein leckeres Menu gekocht. Ein absolutes Verwöhnprogramm mitten in der Natur. Bewusster als an diesem Ort kann man MIT der Natur nicht Leben.'

'This place was so amazing and quiet to stay.I was so impressed by their selection of sheet and how they felt on my skin .The rooms were big and very clean.They have mosquito repellant so mosquitos can’t get in. Overall I give it a 10 and would recommend '

'Apart from it been a good hotel what stood out for me was the friendliest and welcoming staff from the management to the cleaners they were absolutely brilliant, Jacinta,Hilda,Mekane,Christine,Rose, Yvonne and Alphonse the security guy all amazing,thank you all I'll will miss your warm friendship, the Mavvel is a excellent hotel be it for business or a tourist like me i really do highly recommend a stay here, oh and great breakfast, restaurant and bar and hope to visit again when in Embu, thanks...
