Staffing appeared to be minimal, and staff members were not usually present at the front desk, although they could occasionally be found elsewhere in the building. The property does not have an elevator, so if you require assistance with luggage or have mobility concerns, I would recommend requesting a room on the ground floor. « I’ve stayed at several rental properties where there are placards everywhere saying don’t turn on this switch or don’t even think about opening this door. Those things always make the property feel less welcoming. This place is the opposite. No placards and place where I felt invited to use the many amenities available to their guests. I especially appreciated the “no chores” checkout policy! Thanks for a great stay! »

« This was so quiet and peaceful. We went for the Eclipse and it was remote enough to avoid any kind of crowds and noise. It is very small, but perfect for us. Had the feel of a four seasons room with kitchen, bed and bath, plus a screened in porch. We loved it. »

« We loved this property and are already booking again for next year! It is beautiful and secluded the outside area is wonderful with plenty of seating and beautiful scenery. Perfect for eating outside and hanging out and catching up. We never left the property. It is a little challenging to find but once you get the property address our GPS had no trouble finding it. Highly recommend! »

« The host was great, he responded to messages very promptly with knowledgeable answers. The property was nice, rustic and away from cities and towns. It was centrally located to the State Parks and sites that we planned on visiting during our stay. It was a good home base to leave our dog when we were going to hike some rugged trails that would have been too tough for him. I would definitely consider staying again if find myself back in the area. »
