'Great location but the inn is getting tired and needs an upgrade. Breakfast was basic and the towels were like sandpaper.'

'This property is very unique, a bit quirky, very reasonable to say the least and wonderful, for the right sort of traveler. If you don't mind shared and co-ed bath facilities except for a few rooms o, the first of three floors, no elevators, and communicating through text messaging this is just the right spot for you.'

'At first, I was skeptical about a reservation at a place where no one was on site but my doubts were unfounded. I had the best experience with the owners that I’ve ever had in a hotel/motel. They were so responsive and helpful that I was so grateful. They even mailed my husband‘s favorite pants back to him.'

'handige locatie middenin Malone, hartelijke ontvangst, 24/7 koffie in de lobby, redelijk ontbijt met warme wafels, geen vieze vloerbedekking maar mooi schoon licht zeil in de kamer. De Exc King Room heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een nacht en als je nog wat wilt werken. Internet was snel en bij het boeken via internet hebben ze rekening gehouden met mijn wensen. Zeker een aanrader!'

'I would just note that the bedrooms are on the top floor and there are stairs going to the ground floor where the living area, balcony, kitchen and dining area are. The rooms were lovely cabins with lots of room. It included all types of goodies to make your stay welcoming. In the bathroom there were toiletries, a hair dryer, and soft fluffy towels. We greatly appreciated the complementary coffee and tea as we'd forgotten to pack those. We also liked the sampling of books in our cabin to occupy...

'We rode on Rail Trail from Lake Placid and spent night here in Tupper Lake. Great location for bike riders. Close to the trail head, Racquette River Brewery and Main Street Diner. Rode back to LP next day. Enjoyed our stay in Tupper Lake.'
