« This cabin is very clean and well maintained. It had everything we could possibly need from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the bathrooms! It really was idyllic and my children enjoyed their time too! I already miss my coffee on the porch in the morning! »

« Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. »

« If you need a roof over your head for a few days this is perfect for you. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet. The bedding was clean, the water was hot, and there were no bugs. There is a bit of a funky smell but nothing a bit of fabreeze couldn't tackle. »

« visited with my girlfriend and Lynne went out of her way to accommodate us. it’s just a simple cabin, not a hotel room, but the listing was completely clear about all the details. it was exactly what we were looking for. the cabin was comfortable and the view is worth the whole thing. »

« The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

« Quaint, historic property that was perfect for our short stay. Well stocked with essential items needed for stay in bathrooms & kitchen. Outdoor seating area and front porch sitting area. Small country store right across the street and very close to downtown restaurants & shopping. Would book again. »

« The manager, Jessica, was so very kind and easy to work with. I was there fir my grandson's graduation from Virginia Tech and my stay at the corporate suites gave us the comforts of home and close to the venue. »

« Great weekend getaway as a family! The treehouse is a lot of fun, location is fantastic, and communication with the owners was outstanding! Highly recommend! »
