However, our room was a Premier King and, for the amount we paid, we had no view (completely covered by bush and gate, felt a bit jailish), the room was incredibly loud as it backed up to the restaurant, and the staff wasn’t as friendly as expected. We had a nice time all in all, but the ROI was lacking. '

'The property needs a lot of updating. The elevators were out of order many times during our stay resulting in our family, including a child with an ankle fracture, having to walk up 8 flights of stairs multiple times. The bathrooms have no ventilation. There is no furniture on the balconies. Overall, I will not be staying at Tides again. '

'Rooms need some TLC they are worn out. I didn't have anyone come to clean my room. First day I had put the sign do not disturb, the second day I did not. Not sure what happened there. Partial beach view was nice. Never had the breakfast but seemed like bagels and pancakes, cereal and fruit. Coffee/tea was nice to have. '

'This a very nice boutique hotel located in a convenient area in Charleston. The buffet breakfast was also very good. The lobby and bar area is small but quaint. '

'We paid about 600.00 per night for the "city view" and our view was the back of the property, complete with 5 open dumpsters and a parking garage. Otherwise, the stay was really nice and the location is great.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at Drury Plaza. It is in a great location and clean! I had an issue initially on check in but it was okay, we worked it out. I love the restaurant and bar area too, we can't wait to go back!'

Walking in on other people who are in those rooms. Manager was no help. Left his front desk, girls to deal with everything.'
