'We stayed here for a weekend while attending my niece's wedding nearby. The best thing about the property, according to my husband, is that it is directly on the water and you can fish from the docks out back. There is also a boat launch and places to park a boat. So if you're into fishing, five stars.The property is old and very dumpy looking'

'The person in the office argued with me that I selected a smoking room. I showed him my reservation and it clearly stated I selected a non-smoking room. The 1st room was disgusting. The bathroom and walls were brown and full of holes. The paint was peeling off the walls. The 2nd room smelled like urine. The 3rd room stunk do bad it made me gag. Please do no stay here. You will waste your time, effort and money. If I could give a negative 100 stars, I would.'

'The hotel was on very bad shape. On top of that, the rooms were filthy. The first room I got, had a variety of foodrests on the floor, from meats to fruits. Also the curtains were torn. I complained and got a new room, which should be better. It was a little better but still unacceptable filthy. The lady behind the desk was genuinely nice and apologized. 'Its a tough review. The communication was great and entering the rental was easy. It was very clean on the inside. Renting a tiny floating cabin sounded good in theory, but all the boats coming in and out made it rough just being on it with all the rocking back and forth. Most of the doors didnt shut, so everytime a boat would come through the doors would sling open and shut. 'They need to pay attention to the small items. Knobs on dresser was broke. Missing vent cover in bathroom. Front desk was never there, you had to yell or call a phone number. Not consistent with continental breakfast. Better maid service. Strong cleaning smell and floors not mopped clean.'
