'Our stay was so much more relaxing than a hotel. We walked the grounds and enjoyed a beautiful morning on the patio for our morning coffee. Had a short stay to visit family, but want to come back for several days to relax and explore Decorah. '

'I found it odd that there was no elevator (at least none that I could see) to access the second floor. Had to carry my large suitcase up the steps. Breakfast was good. Breakfast staff was helpful. The woman who checked us in had numerous piercings on her face (nose) and was intimidating but was very professional and helpful otherwise. '

'We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...

'Wasn’t a cabin in the typical sense but cozy and warm nonetheless. Very much enjoyed the hot tub. This was probably the cleanest place we’ve stayed at. Would definitely stay here again as the only issue we ran into was not being able to use the carafe for the coffee.'

'The Lazy River cabin was excellent! Clean, quiet, and charming, with an cozy wood stove and a great hot tub. Plenty of space to sleep, heated floors in the basement, well stocked with towels and linnens, the dishwasher worked very well as did any kitchen equipment we used. The only issues we had were extremely minor. As usual with "rentals," the knives were quite dull. There was a loud heat pump on the upper level (it faded into the background quickly, but it was much louder than the identical...

'Quick response time from host. Comfy cabin near lots of cute towns, hiking, and nature centers. Cabin was comfy and cozy. Had some cleaning issues upon arrival but host did remedy them. '
