'Nice little "cabin" it is a touch outdated and could use a deep cleaning but we were able rest and relax. The hot tub was a great relaxation, even with the main road right there, there was not much traffic and could hear the sounds of nature easy. Overall good stay.'

'We had a nice stay at Black Bear Cabin. Short distance to tourist attractions. Hot tub was enjoyed and the beds were comfortable. Some things that might help improve the stay for others would be: dish towels for easier kitchen clean up, ability to plug in deck lighting, hooks or shelving in rooms for towels and clothes, end tables in the queen bed rooms, and fresh batteries for basement remote. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for cooking. Great place for meditating and quality time. '

'Great location close to everything downtown Waukon has to offer. House was charming with modern kitchen updates with new appliances and the host even offered fresh frozen meals for purchase which, was a nice option that I’ve never seen at other VRBO’s. The house had a modern farmhouse appeal and was very charming. Would without question stay here again.'

'Good property and everyone had an enjoyable stay. Wasn't completely clean when we arrived but the host had messaged us the day of that there had been a huge mess left by the previous guests and the cleaners might have missed some things so it was forgivable. '
