'Matt was a gracious host and the property was as described with plenty of room for our family of 4. Kitchen was fully equipped and the front deck had plenty of seating. It was wonderful to sit out there late at night. There was even a doggie gate blocking the stairs so that our pup could be out there as well. Each bedroom had a remote controlled ceiling fan which was really nice. You will want to bring toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags if staying a week as the cleaning crew leaves...

'This is absolutely the nicest home. It was super clean. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of linens in both bathrooms. It's 5 minutes from the beach , Foodlion and all the fun on the causeway. The host was so nice and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood was quite and the neighbors were all so friendly. I was there with my 3 granddaughters who enjoyed the home so much. They were able to ride their bikes to the Innercostal...

'We had a great stay at this beach house. Loved the location, the house, and the pool. It was a quick walk to the beach and the pool was great. The house could use a deep clean. We had air conditioning issues for most of our stay, but the property managers were very responsive and had technicians come to the house several times. So, I was very appreciative of their response and efforts to get it resolved. Overall, it was a great week and we enjoyed our time there.'

'We loved our recent stay at the Silver Palms Cottage. The property was exactly as pictured and described. It was located in the more residential area of Oak Island which was fine with us, we enjoyed the quiet away from the tourists. However, it was a short ride to the beach (10 min). There is an option to rent a golf cart onsite. The home was spotless and comfy with attention to details. From the pet-friendly fenced in backyard area to the special touches in the cottage that you don't find at...
