« I throughly enjoyed my stay. This was my first visit to Oak Island and I will go back. The room was very clean. I didn’t need the staff for any issues but they were great at check in. I also didn’t go to the pool so I’m not sure how that is. The parking lot and the hotel itself seemed very well maintained. I loved the short walk to the beach. I do think my tv was possessed. Lol. Seriously though I think the neighbors remote was turning mine on and off. I couldn’t get my remote to do anything but...

« We have stayed here several times! However, the pool wasn’t maintained properly and had turned somewhat green! Out of the three days we were there, we could only use it one day! A little disappointing for a visit at this location! »

« Someone entered our room in the middle of the night! They claimed to be housekeeping - it was midnight! We told staff when we checked out and they said a manager would call me. No one has called. I called on Tuesday to follow up and still haven’t heard from anyone. We were traveling with small kids who were super scared and had a hard time going back to sleep. The rest of our vacation they were kept referencing the 1 night at this hotel when someone came in. Thank goodness we had the security...

« We want to compliment Trevor and Diane on their helpfulness. The doors in the rooms closed to loudly and there was a cockroach in our bathroom. Other than that we had a good stay. »

« Great place. The staff, location and family atmosphere makes Captains Cove the perfect location for an old fashioned family beach vacation. After 15 years of visiting it feels like staying with friends and not just a hotel. I’ll be back soon! »
