'This is the second time we have stayed at the Grand Dunes. We were there one year ago, liked the property and returned this year. It had an old time style from the lobby to the rooms. 'We recently stayed at Dunes Village and had a great overall experience. The property has direct beach access, and we loved being able to enjoy the beach well into the evening. Guests also have access to multiple pools and the on-site water park, which makes it a fun option for both families and adults. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. 'The good: Location is fantastic. The bad: kitchen cabinets needs mold remediation; smell and visible green mold buildup on shelves. Mattresses worn and uncomfortable.'
