'Het is bijzonder om in zo’n boot te slapen, maar bij warm weer niet te doen. Je kan helaas de ramen niet open maken om te ventileren, omdat de muggen naar binnen komen. Het zou fijn zijn als er een manier is om een hor te plaatsen, bijvoorbeeld bij de opening op het dak of zo mogelijk bij een raam?'

'This is a lovely apartment home in a quaint village just outside of Amsterdam. Second floor has a kitchen with everything you need, one bathroom, and primary bedroom. The third floor has two bedrooms with two twin beds each. The apartment has big windows and felt light and airy. Apartment was updated and clean, communication with the host was excellent, and the village was lovely to walk around. This is close to Amsterdam and surrounding areas. We rented a car for our trip but there were buses...

'Such a beautiful place to stay! The houseboat was definitely worth the trek into and out of Amsterdam - it felt like a little reprieve from the craziness of the city. Took us about 30 minutes to get into town each day, of which was a 15 minute bus ride. The town of Monnickendam was super welcoming and had great food options! One thing to be wary of would just be the spiders - all of us did end up getting bit because there are just so many in the marina that would find their way into the boat....

'This was advertised as a 1500 Apartment with 2 bedrooms. It's a storage unit that they added 2 toilets too. There are no windows, the toilets extractor fans did not work and the host tried to order a new extractor fan on about the 27 of April 2026. The lights/globes in the place were also inadequate and had to go buy a 75 W globe in order to see anything in the kitchen. The second bed was a SOFA BED and the last time I had to sleep on a sofa bed was 40 years ago. '

'We hebben genoten van ons gastvrij verblijf in Bed in Broek. Het is knus, compleet en luxe. De ligging is uniek en zo rustig met een mooie tuin. We voelden ons meteen thuis.'

'We had a wonderful stay with Deep and Julie on their Catermeran. We enjoyed some wonderful sailing and anchored near an Island for the night. We had a lovely evening sharing stories over dinner and watching the sun go down! I was impressed how warm and cosy the boat was and how well we all slept! Waking up surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery in the morning was very special and we enjoyed basking up the sunshine before setting sail. It was a great adventure for both children and adults...

'Heel leuk dorp met al zijn charme en leuke resto ect. Huisje voldoet aan alle confort en ligt centraal in het dorp. Vlak bij Amsterdam indien je toch de grote shopping wil doen.'

'Heel landelijk, maar toch dichtbij allerlei leuke plaatsen, ligt dit smaakvolle ruime huis. Ook de gastheer en gastvrouw doen hun best om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het is overigens wel heel handig om een auto tot je beschikking te hebben.'
