« The hosts are amazing!! The house was wonderful and the property was everything as described. Lovely time on the lake kayaking. We were very well taken care of and Nicola and David were the loveliest hosts we’ve ever had. Highly recommend renting this lovely home if you just want to relax and enjoy the Irish countryside. « Lovely cabin in the woods, came with all the little extras you often don't think to pack (e.g. towels, condiments, cleaning products, books, DVDs, toys, baby equipment etc). Can't help but relax here, especially on the veranda in the evening, which has a patio heater if needed. No wifi & 6km from town meant my kids aged 15, 13 & 4, took to exploring the woods, finding frogs, playing games, watching DVDs with family while 'home'. « Points positifs : Nous avons apprécié l'espace dans l'appartement ainsi que son agencement et son aménagement bien pensé.. Tout est suffisant pour y passer un séjour agréable. La vue sur le lac est juste magnifique. Il y a à disposition une laverie,une salle de sport, une épicerie et un petit restaurant. Les parkings sont à proximité. Points négatifs : Un peu de vétusté dans la cuisine (grille-pain rouillé, micro-ondes rouillé, ustentiles, bouilloire fond décollé etc..., mobilier. un peu...

« We had hoped to experience "the real Ireland" and that goal was achieved. This apartment gave us a great central location for visiting the Midlands and East to Dublin. Pat and Una gave us such a warm welcome - we really felt like part of the family. Additionally, we spent some lovely evenings at Weir's Bar and Restaurant for great food, great drink and, best of all, Irish hospitality. »

« The Grooms Cottage was a rustic wonderful stay. It is in the country but really not far from shops. Having only 1 bathroom was a little difficult in the morning with 5 adults but they are working on an upstairs one, it just wasn't ready for our stay. I definitely would come back to the Grooms Cottage! »
