'The property is large and about 50 minutes from the airport in the middle of nowhere. The food options are great!! Reservations are not required for the restaurants but you have to get there at least 15 minutes before they open if you want to get a table. The selection of food at the buffet and the different restaurant are excellent. The people and service are are also excellent. The only con to this property is the beach. It is not very clean and we witnessed one of the souvenir vendors deal...

'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'Wir würden sehr lieb begrüßt/betreut und unser Zimmer war sehr schön, aber leider konnte uns das Hotel nicht ganz so überzeugen. Das Restaurant ist zu teuer mit zu wenig Auswahl, in der direkten Umgebung fußläufig ist wenig bis nichts geboten. Das Frühstück und Pools waren ok. Bonus ist der direkte Strandzugang und eine Affenfamilie, die am Hotelgelände wohnt.'

Petit bémol sur l'état de propreté de la salle de bains qui pourrait être amélioré, le mobilier est vieillissant et la climatisation de la chambre très bruyante. Il faut marcher le long d'une route très fréquentée et sans trottoir pour les piétons pour se rendre sur les plages. '

Zeer mooi zwemdok, dat dagelijks gereinigd werd, maar men zou de ontbrekende mozaiksteentjes in het dok toch moeten vervangen vooraleer het een verouderde indruk geeft.We hadden wel verwacht dat het hotel in Tamarindo aan het water zou liggen wat niet het geval is, zodat we 's avonds niet veel konden doen.'

'Een smal paadje leidt je zo naar het strand MAAR je kan hier niet zwemmen! Er staat een groot bord dat er in dit gedeelte krokodillen zitten, dus om te zwemmen / surfen moet je eerst 200 meter verder lopen . Dat stond niet op de website vermeld. Wij hadden het hotel juist geboekt zodat onze kinderen voor de deur in zee konden, maar dat viel dus erg tegen. Het hotel wilde ons niet tegemoet komen door 1 van de 3 geboekte nachten te cancellen . Verder: het zijn heel basic kamers, een piepkleine...

'Very nice place. Just in the middle of nowhere. Cabs to and from town have to deal with a steep, dirt, bumpy, rock-filled road (one night we almost couldn't find it). And because of its isolation, not even able to walk around outside the 10-room facility. But the room, pool, staff, and included breakfasts were exceptional.'
