'My unit was clean and host was responsive and very kind! Everything was cozy and I felt very comfortable. The only difference is there was no full stove and oven it is a hot plate. I was able to cook meals fine but did expect a full stove as pictured. Other than than it was comfy, had a great balcony view, and wonderdul host and host family. I would definitely stay again. Also, there are a few local stores that are in walking distance that I loved exploring and getting necessties from. :)'

'Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!'

'Adan and Marianne were perfect hosts and far exceeded our expectations. Communication and check-in were easy and they even called to help us navigate a GPS error (on our part) on our way there. Property was clean and their flowers were beautiful. They gave us fresh fruit and pastries in the morning. Our 2 young kids quickly took to Adan and Marianne, plus their two adorable dogs. Our kids loved checking out the birds on the property with them, and they were gracious to lend us binoculars and...

'Stunning Mountain View’s. Cute quaint home. Downside if you are a light sleeper is the Nextdoor rooster starts at 5 am and goes on until 7am so didn't get much sleep. Must have a 4 x 4 vehicle as the road is steep with parts unpaved and narrow. Local host very helpful. '
