'A great place to stay! The hotel combined two of the officer's quarters from Fort Seward to make a beautiful building. While the building is from the early 1900s, it is beautifully maintained. The owner is very helpful - he went so far as to dig out a socket wrench to help me with an errant piece of photo equipment. Would definitely stay here again. '

'I stayed here the night before I caught the ferry and it was fantastically comfortable. The only issue that I had, and it was very minor, was finding the check-in instructions, but it was no trouble - another guest showed me the way. Well, there was a second issue. The driveway is very steep with some very sharp turns. I had everything I owned in the back of my pickup, so with the added weight, it was problematic for me to maneuver the driveway. 'We stayed here for the 2025 Bald Eagle Festival. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go from the place including grocery stores and restaurants. We had everything we needed in the unit for our stay. The power went out in town for quite a while one day and Miki sent someone over with an extra flashlight - that was very nice. '
