« We had an amazing 1 night stay. We had parked up the road just off high street (24 hour car park) as parking limited (permit only outside) at the pub but was easy to find car park and walk down to the pub was a couple of minutes. When we arrived in the pub we were welcomed by Babs and Summer. Summer showed us to our room, you have to go through a staff only area and as it is a pub the ceilings were low but we liked that as it makes the stay different. « Nous avons choisi le George sur les conseils d'amis qui, comme nous, ont leur enfant à l'University of Essex. The George est situé sur High Street, donnant un grand choix de restaurants, 100 metres du parc du Chateau (7.30-19h). L'hôtel est très "oldy-wordly" avec quelques murs d'origine. La chambre n'était pas grande mais largement suffisante, avec vue sur le parking, donc pas de bruit et très calme. Le lit, 160 metre était très confortable comme le linge de lit. Le seul hic était la douche...

« What a great place to stay in you need a bed for the night. Everything is handed by phone and text. Parking at the rear of the property, nice clean room and we'll sorted en suite. The design of my room made it a bit of a squeeze getting around the double bed. Good amenities including a drinks fridge with complimentary water and juice included as well as tea and coffee making facilities and a small oven, ironing board and cooling tower fan. 25 minutes walk to Castle Park »
