'A location full of history but you can see/feel that it is somewhat outdated. First room we were given had a very strong damp smell. Luckily the reception guys could find us another room. All in all a decent stay. Location is just beautiful. '

'Nice hotel near the hip end of Palm Springs. Colorful pool area with nice landscaping. The room was available 3 hours before check-in which was a great bonus'

'Beautiful grounds, lovely pools, and great views. Some small service and attention to detail issues, for example, the clock was 20 minutes off, the in-room refrigerator was noisy (but had a nice ice maker), and poor shower pressure. '

'Overall, we had a short but very enjoyable stay at the Riviera. Breakfast each morning poolside at the restaurant there. Food was delicious and staff all throughout the resort were very attentive and polite. We used the gym and the pool and enjoyed them both. The spa looked nice, but didn't have time to use it. We would definitely return. We stayed at the Four Seasons this year in Hawaii and we know what excellent hotels looks like -this was wonderful and very good for the price. '
