« The manager was very friendly and helpful and It was easy to check in. The cabins are very rustic and showing signs of age, but my cottage was clean, the bed very comfortable and there was anything one would want for a short stay, including refrigerator and microwave. The air conditioner was rather noisy and there was no remote, so a bit awkward to control it. If you like your morning coffee, you might want to bypass the in-room packets and opt for Alpaca Coffee and Tea just down the road. But...

« Le logement est très bien pour 2 personnes mais pas adapté à 4 personnes. Le couchage dans le canapé était tout cassé et non préparé. On nous a dépanné avec un lit d'appoint mais ce n'était pas a la hauteur de nos attentes pour une famille de 4 personnes. Le lit double était confortable, la cuisine semblait bien équipée. »

« Loved our weekend stay in the cutest lodge in the cutest mountain town. The staff was great and helpful. The lodge is lovely and a perfect place to get some peace and quiet from the busy city. The only thing I would love to see improved upon was the king mattress in our room. It has lived a good life supporting many travelers and it’s time to send it to mattress heaven. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to Idyllwild and this lodge :) »

« Excellent place to camp »

« Beautiful property, lack of response from hosts, no interaction at all was a bit disconcerting. The second room with bunk beds can get hot and would benefit from fans as there is only AC in main bedroom. The setting and patio were pretty and the location is fantastic for park entrance. I do not recommend getting there after dark. We did, unintentionally, and it was so confusing to find, there is no signage on gates or at property to let you know you're there. We figured it out but it was rough...
