'A lovely holiday retreat, very well maintained and host very welcoming.'

'Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too.'

'Behind the black iron door there is a lovely well equipped cottage. The best thing is that it is right in the middle of Cheadle and at the same time a quite retreat, the best of both. We are not the absolute nature lovers, but made trips tot Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Close enough for a days visit. But we explored the Peak district as well. We did Buxton and Ashbourne and Leek too. We find the cottage very cosy. We didn’t miss a thing. Everything was there, including good Wifi.'

'The plus side: Nice clean cottage, welcome basket with fresh bread, haribo sweets, wine. Flowers on table, tea, coffee, sugar and even treats for the dog. Sky/netflix. Bed very comfy. Nice white towels. Good communication from owner. 2 local pubs- the Nelson ...no food gd beer. Rising sun, pub grub. Both friendly pubs. negative side: Right on a very busy,noisy road. We could not work out why so many lorries etc cut through there. We did sort of get used to the noise except early...

'The property is lovely, plenty of room for me, my mother and my dog. Pauline goes above with lovely extras incluidng eggs, milk ankd cake. Home made biscuits, plenty of towels and bowls for the dog. Quiet location with 2 large fields for dogs to run free and secure. Just a short drive to leek. I will definitely stay again.'

'Goede en ruime woning voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Ook de ontvangst was heel hartelijk. De omgeving waar de woning staat is heel mooi en er zijn veel wandelroutes in de omgeving. Bakewell ligt op een paar kilometer afstand en heeft een compleet winkelaanbod voor als je enkele weken in het huis wil verblijven.'

'The pictures don't do the place justice, the location is great and its minutes walk into Borrowash for shops and pubs etc and only a few minutes drive into Derby. The place is quiet and very clean and well maintained, secure and welcoming. Theres only three rooms so its not overly busy and the parking is very secure with a phone controlled gate on entry and exit to the property.
